From the beginning, we have tried to keeep the cost per person low to attract as many classmates as possible to this reunion. The Lakewood Country Club, for example, would have cost over $50 per person, hors doevres only. Drinks were extra. For that reason, and for the nostalgia, we selected Winfrey Point, a venue that has produced fond memeories for Woodrow grads for decades. Before we checked with the City, we announced that there would be a cash bar. However, the City of Dallas Parks Department has strict rules regarding alcohol. Without a lot of detail, suffice it to say, we blew it by assumption without checking first with the City and we cannot "sell" alcohol on the premises.

We can, however, serve it and either include it in the price of registration or take a "donation" to cover our costs. So, to avoid penalizing those who do not wish to drink alcohol, we computed the cost of beer, wine, cups, ice, cleanup, etc. and came up with about $9.73 per person. This number is based on consultation with professionals who shared their experience with us and our past experience at other reunions.

Therefore, if you choose to drink, the added "donation" will be required at the door.
